Friday night’s loss was tough after our players worked hard all summer to help get the program back in the win column. As I told the players in the locker room - the result doesn’t devalue all the effort they have put forth. The next progression will be handling adversity better and limiting unforced errors. We still have a lot of work to do to get where we want to be - and we know we have the student-athletes needed to get there.
School has started and the stress of the season can compound what other students at Wilson are dealing with. You can support your student-athlete’s performance in both arenas by helping them get 8+ hours of sleep, continuing to drink lots of water, and doing the preventive maintenance necessary to avoid injury.
Monday: Locker room open at 4pm, film from 4:20-4:55pm. Half-pack and black shorts practice until 7pm.
Tuesday: Helmet, jersey, and black shorts practice until 5:30pm.
Wednesday: mandatory Study Hall 3:40 - 4:20pm. Full suit practice until 7pm.
Thursday: Half-pack and black shorts practice until 5:30pm., Team Dinner 5:45-6:30pm
Friday: Varsity game vs Cleveland kickoff at 7pm. Players report to locker room by 5pm.
Saturday: athletic wear and running shoes practice 9-10:30am.
